These days, the schools organised many activities/events for kids. I don't remember having Racial Harmony Day, Family Day, International Day or Fancy Dress Party in school. Kyrene just had a Fancy Dress Party on 15Nov, the last day before the start of school holidays. As we were informed of the event way beforehand, when we were in Shanghai, we went hunting for a fancy dress. Its cheaper compared to Singapore. We saw a Mulan costume but it was a size too small. I really like that one. But Kyrene chose this pink colour princess gown. I thought its a little too elaborate (it comes with can can on the inside). She likes it so we have to buy it. She looks pretty in it so guess its worth the money. Don't know how many times will she get to wear it though.
